Eco Multi Cleaner for wooden and water-resistant hard floors

Eco Multi Cleaner is a high-quality, pH-neutral cleaner for the regular, streak-free cleaning of water-resistant hard floors, furniture and other washable surfaces.

The cleaner removes everyday dirt, grease and signs of use without leaving a conditioning layer of soap, oil or wax on the surface. This makes Eco Multi Cleaner particularly suitable for normal daily or weekly cleaning.

The product has a fresh citrus scent and is available in 1 and 5-litre containers. A convenient Eco Multi Cleaner Spray is also available for quickly cleaning furniture, tables and smaller areas.

Suitable for many different surfaces

Eco Multi Cleaner can be used on water-resistant surfaces such as:

• Oiled wooden and parquet floors

• Floors treated with hardwax oil

• PVC and synthetic floors

Do not use the product on untreated, porous or non-water-resistant materials without testing first. Always test it on an inconspicuous area before using it on natural stone, marble or an unknown surface.

How to use Eco Multi Cleaner

Step 1 – Remove loose dirt

Vacuum or sweep the floor thoroughly first. Remove sand, dust and other loose dirt before mopping.

Sand remaining on the floor may cause small scratches while mopping.

Step 2 – Dose the cleaner

Fill a bucket with approximately 10 litres of lukewarm water.

For normal cleaning, add approximately two capfuls of Eco Multi Cleaner. For heavier contamination, approximately three to four capfuls may be used.

Do not use more cleaner than necessary. Overdosing does not improve cleaning and may cause streaks or residue.

Always follow the dosage stated on the product label if it differs from this guideline.

Step 3 – Use a suitable mop

We recommend using the special mop from the Opti Set or another mop that can be thoroughly wrung out.

Wet the mop and wring it out very well. It should be damp, but no water should drip from it.

Step 4 – Mop the floor

Wipe the floor evenly using as little moisture as possible. Work in manageable sections and do not leave puddles on the surface.

Rinse the mop regularly. On a heavily soiled floor, we recommend using a second bucket containing clean water to rinse the mop.

Repeat the cleaning treatment if necessary.

Step 5 – Allow the floor to dry

Allow the floor to air-dry before subjecting it to intensive use.

When the product is correctly dosed and the mop is sufficiently wrung out, the surface will normally dry quickly and without streaks.

Important information for wooden floors

A wooden floor should never be mopped with excessive water. Water may penetrate joints, damaged areas or insufficiently protected sections and cause swelling, discolouration or other damage.

Always use a well-wrung mop and never leave puddles on the floor.

Eco Multi Cleaner cleans the floor but does not apply new oil, soap or wax protection. It therefore does not replace the periodic use of maintenance oil, Natural Soap or maintenance wax.

Cleaning and protecting are two different steps

Many customers believe that a conditioning floor soap, oil or wax also cleans the floor completely. The WocaStore maintenance plan makes a clear distinction:

• Eco Multi Cleaner is used for the normal removal of dirt and grease

• WOCA Natural Soap is primarily used for periodic nourishment and to leave a thin, protective soap layer

• WOCA Maintenance Oil periodically restores the oil protection of the wood

• WOCA Intensive Wood Cleaner is used only for thorough deep cleaning when this is necessary

Using each product for its correct purpose helps prevent dirt from becoming trapped beneath new layers of soap, oil or wax.

Eco Multi Cleaner within the WocaStore maintenance plan

Based on many years of practical experience, WocaStore has developed its own maintenance plan. This plan differs in certain respects from the general maintenance recommendations provided by manufacturers.

Within this maintenance plan, Eco Multi Cleaner is used for normal weekly cleaning or more frequently when required by the use of the floor.

The complete maintenance sequence is:

1. Thorough initial cleaning when necessary

Use WOCA Intensive Wood Cleaner when old contamination, grease or accumulated maintenance layers must first be removed completely.

This product is not intended for normal weekly cleaning.

2. Restore the oil protection

Apply WOCA Maintenance Oil Natural or White when the floor’s oil protection needs to be restored.

3. Periodically nourish and protect the floor

Use WOCA Natural Soap approximately once every one or two months for additional nourishment and to leave a thin, protective soap layer.

4. Carry out normal weekly cleaning

Use Eco Multi Cleaner to regularly remove dirt, grease and signs of use.

This keeps the floor clean between treatments with Natural Soap and Maintenance Oil.

Hygienically clean, but not a disinfectant

Eco Multi Cleaner removes normal household dirt and grease and helps keep surfaces hygienically clean.

However, it is not a registered disinfectant. Do not claim that the product kills bacteria or viruses unless this is explicitly stated on the current label or in the technical documentation.

Spray version for local cleaning

Eco Multi Cleaner is also available as a ready-to-use spray for tables, furniture, local stains and smaller surfaces.

Spray a small amount onto the surface or a soft, slightly damp cloth. Then wipe the surface evenly.
